On Monday, Lansdowne students had the opportunity to participated in the Drop Everything and Read initiative. They were invited to drop what they were doing and read a book for 20 minutes. Check out the library bulletin board for pictures of staff and students reading.
For a class project, several students have created their own blogs on a topic or topics of their choice. The blogs will be linked to the Lansdowne Library Blog, as soon as the addresses have been passed on to me. Please support these students by reading and responding on their blogs.
After a couple of introductions lessons, Ms Kilpatrick's classes will be starting to create their own book trailers. For this first book trailer, students will use a favorite picture book. I will keep you posted on our progress.
